Recently Ortec Finance launched its GLASS Workflow Automation API. This API module enables pension plans to automate their GLASS-related monthly and quarterly reporting and monitoring processes. GLASS is Ortec Finance’s ALM and Strategic Risk Management software. A first client signed up to use the API as soon as it was launched.

Automated periodic reporting and monitoring processes improve the accuracy of reports, and reduce the valuable time spent on the reporting process by eliminating the need to manually import, calculate, and extract data and analytics from GLASS. In addition, the API module enables you to automate the download of GLASS output into your internal reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau. This makes updating your in-house dashboards and reports more straightforward and reliable.
How does it work
- Input: A scheduled Call API retrieves latest input-data from your input data set or data warehouse, sends it to the GLASS API which automatically updates GLASS
- Simulation: GLASS API starts and monitors pre-scheduled simulations
- Output: GLASS API retrieves output and sends it back to your data warehouse and/or reporting tool.
