NET developer

What do we have to offer?

Your future team is responsible for developing and maintaining software for big institutional investors like pension funds and insurance companies around the globe. Together with your teammates, you make sure that the model is in line with the market demands. The model is computational heavy, so you always think of performance and memory usage. You will be working in a highly self-organizing SCRUM team, with a lot of room for personal development. Maybe unnecessary to mention, but as a developer in a flat organization your focus will be on actual coding instead of spending your time in meetings.

So how could your week look like? Every day starts with a short stand-up of 10 minutes so that you know what the goals of the day are. On Monday you could be joining a call with a client to discuss new features that a client need. A knowledge sharing session is planned for Tuesday. On Wednesday you may find yourself implementing unit tests. On Thursday you’re trying to finish all the work at the last day of the sprint. And on Friday you have a retrospective and a sprint planning for the next sprint. And join us in the afternoon on the 18th floor of our beautiful building in Rotterdam, looking out over the city, for our Friday Live meeting including drinks.

Who are you?

You enjoy working together with your team members and have an eye for creating highly maintainable software. Translating requirements into software and showing it to end users along the way does not trouble you. You understand what an end user really needs. And of course, you recognize yourself in our core values.

In addition, the following aspects are important:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or any other beta related field
• Evidence of affinity with software development
• Interested in financial models
• Analytic skills
• Being fluent in English is a requirement, command of the Dutch language is a pré.
