• You will be based at our Rotterdam office. You can manage your start and end of the working day and be flexible to combine work with your private life. If you would like or sometimes need to, working from home is an option.

R&D Labs aims to be the linking pin between colleagues and clients of Ortec Finance and the scientific research community. It performs innovative, high-quality research with a strong practical focus. We collaborate with students, academics, and external parties to design the future of investment decision making.

Is this something for you?

This position really fits you well when you are creative in problem solving, working on innovations, and you enjoy experimenting with new ideas. You have experience and are eager to learn more in one of the following areas:

• Programming (we generally use Java and Python)
• Creating an API to connect modules with existing applications
• Knowledge of machine learning and experience with data analysis
• Using AI and machine learning to improve different modules
• Researching the latest trends and innovations in wealth and financial planning and machine learning
• Making suggestions for further improvement and development of new and existing modules.

Are you a University student in ICT, (applied) data science, Computer Science, or a related field? Are you eager to learn more about fintech and machine learning? Do you also have some experience with programming languages, Large Language Models, and machine learning? Then, you are the perfect candidate for this position!
