As Senior Business Specialist within Ortec Finance’s Climate & ESG Solutions, Sophie is primarily responsible for the ongoing research and integration of economic and financial risks within its climate scenarios.
Sophie has over 12 years' experience in energy economics and modelling. Before joining Ortec Finance, she led the Modelling Team at Cambridge Econometrics, where she developed the global economy, energy system and environment ‘E3ME’ model, a key component of Ortec Finance’s ClimateMAPS scenario analysis solution. Her career has been mainly focused on policy impact assessment and analysis for national governments, international institutions and the European Commission. She has delivered training courses in energy-economy modelling for the UNFCCC and the World Bank.Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Bristol.
