Research Engineer

As a Research Engineer, you will conduct cutting-edge research on mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex problems in finance, and you'll use that research to create scalable technical implementations. You'll start your career in a fintech environment that encourages you to approach problems creatively and gives you the freedom to do so.

What do we have to offer?

You'll join the R&D Labs team, where we conduct research that can be applied across a range of departments to improve the performance of their solutions. You'll work with researchers and engineers from other teams and encourage the effective technical translation of the lab's findings into products.

You will:

• Work on state-of-the-art research projects in econometrics and machine learning. Projects include Reinforcement Learning, Bayesian modeling and optimization, Diffusion models.
• Implement algorithms/models found in research papers in a scalable way.
• Supervise graduate students in their research projects. Provide methodological and technical guidance as required.
• Work with researchers to produce efficient and maintainable code that enables seamless collaboration using cloud computing capabilities.
• Conduct experiments with MLops platforms, such as Azure Machine Learning or Openshift AI.

• You have a master’s degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
• You possess strong programming skills in Python, ideally together with experience in machine learning libraries like PyTorch or Tensorflow
• You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
